FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Nova Southeastern University track and field head coach Bryan Hagopian is pleased to announce the hiring of Katrina DeKrey as assistant coach for the men's and women's track and field teams. DeKrey joins the Nova Southeastern staff following a three-year stint at Florida International University, where she served as a graduate assistant for the cross country and track and field teams. During her tenure, DeKrey coached four NCAA national qualifiers and five school record holders in multi-events, as well as jumps. Prior to arriving at FIU, DeKrey competed at the University of Florida in the 100m hurdles.
