The 2015 Florida track and field season is just around the corner, and the Gator track and field program -- which owns a combined six national championships -- will kick off the indoor season January 9-10 at the UAB Blazer Invitational in Birmingham.

Former Florida track and field Gator great athletes, Beth Farmer and Candice Scott, are two of seven Gator Greats set to be inducted into the 2015 UF Athletics Hall of Fame Class, announced Tuesday by the University.

Zunic first advanced out of qualifying with 19.94m as his best attempt, and went on to finish fourth in finals of the shot at Letzigrund Stadium with a new school record and personal-best mark, 20.68m/67-10.25.

Saturday was Gator Day at the NACAC U23 Championships in Kamloops, BC, at Hillside Stadium as several Gators garnered gold on the second day of the international competition in Canada.

Outstanding Senior Leader and Gator thrower David Levin helped highlight Florida track and field and cross country's summer 2014 graduates Saturday at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.

With the 2014 NCAA Track & Field season behind the Orange and Blue, and the USA Outdoor Championships in the rear-view mirror for the Florida track and field program, several Gators have been in action this summer across the globe.
